Abstract:
A manual bamboo timbre furniture with tenons comprises furniture elements made of manual bamboo timbre such as bamboo panel and bamboo square wood. Various tenons, tenon holes and tenon grooves with different shapes are formed on the elements. The elements are assembled into parts and finished furniture with adhesive using the cooperation of the tenons and tenon holes. Said manual bamboo timbre are made of bamboo strips bonded together by high pressure which have bee subjected to be boiled with high temperature, dried with high temperature, carbonized and dehydrated-desugarized. The manual bamboo timbre formed by bonding with high pressure comprises side pressed manual bamboo timbre, flat pressed manual bamboo timbre, I-type pressed manual bamboo timbre, multi-I-type pressed manual bamboo timbre. The said tenons and tenon holes could be quadric, trapezoid, circular, oval and trapezoid with arcs.
