Abstract:
The invention relates to a manual torque adjuster for a motor vehicle steering system, having an electric motor (1) which has a pinion which is arranged on a motor shaft (6) on the output side of said electric motor (1), which pinion drives a belt pulley (3) via a toothed belt (2), and having a sensor unit (20) which is suitable for sensing the position of the motor and which is connected to an electronic controller which controls the electric motor (1), wherein the sensor unit (20) is arranged near to the output-side end of the motor shaft (6).
