Abstract:
A self-locking manually fastened drill chuck includes a ratchet ring, a clamping
support, at least one elastic detent and a retaining ring. Said ratchet ring connects
with the body of the manually fastened drill chuck, and it is provided with ratchets
on the end face which is opposite to said body; said clamping support connects
with the outer surface of the threaded ring of the drill chuck. The end face of the
clamping support is provided with at least one ratchet grooves; said elastic
detent is fixed in said ratchet groove, and it has a protrusion and a tooth plate;
said retaining ring has at least two arc segments which mutually cooperate with
each other by clamping on the front end of the body. The outer perimeter of the retaining
ring connects with the front cap of the drill chuck; said retaining ring connects
with said clamping support, and drives the clamping support rotating with it.
The end face of the retaining ring is provided with deep grooves and shallow grooves
for receiving the protrusions of the elastic detent.
