Abstract:
The invention relates to a manually operable switch device (1) for a vehicle, comprising a switch lever (2) and at least one touch-sensitive sensor device (6) that is provided on the switch lever (2), said sensor device being designed to detect an action on a sensor surface (7, 8) of the device (6) that does not alter the position of the switch lever (2) and an action on said surface of the device that triggers a switch signal. The switch device is provided with an activation system (15) which allows the detecting state of the sensor device (6) to be activated in a user-defined manner.
