Abstract:
The present invention relates to a manually operated travelling device and aims to help a user to conveniently carry around, easily drive and safely ride thereon, while keeping a more comfortable pose without falling off in the middle of travelling. To accomplish this object, the manually operated travelling device of the present invention includes a frame, front wheels installed on the front portion of the frame, a handle bar for steering the front wheels, rear wheels installed on the rear portion of the frame and a pedal unit for driving the rear wheel with a pedal force exerted by both feet of the user, wherein the pedal unit comprises: 1st and 2nd pedals installed at the frame in a vertically rotatable manner, enabling the user to step the pedals down with both feet respectively; 1st and 2nd rotating disks installed at the frame in a rotatable manner; a 1st power transfer unit for transferring a rotational force of the 1st pedal that rotates by the pedal force exerted by the user to the 1st rotating disk; a 2nd power transfer unit for transferring a rotational force of the 2nd pedal that rotates by the pedal force exerted by the user to the 2nd rotating disk; and a 3rd power transfer unit for transferring rotational force of the 1st and 2nd rotating disks to the rear wheels to drive the same.
