Abstract:
A manufacturing device and a manufacturing method for an optical fiber preform rod. The manufacturing device comprises: a sintering furnace (11) for oxidization and dehydration, a central pipe (12) located in the sintering furnace (11), at least one heating element (5) located in the sintering furnace (11) and located outside of the central pipe (12), a SiO2 blank (10) located in the central pipe, a sealing cover (14) for sealing the central pipe (12), an inner cavity (12) located in the central pipe (12), an outer cavity (15) located outside of the central pipe (12) and located in the sintering furnace, a first vacuum exhaust pipe (2) and a first gas pipe (9) connected to the outer cavity (15), a second vacuum exhaust pipe (7) and a second gas pipe (4) connected to the sintering furnace, the heating element, the SiO2 blank, and the sealing cover all being located in the sintering furnace.
