Abstract:
A manufacturing method for an absorbent article comprising loop parts extending outwards on both sides of a surface sheet, wherein the loop parts maintain their function and loop sections are not susceptible to unsuitable folding. The manufacturing method comprises: a step in which an absorbent article (1) is prepared, the absorbent article comprising a surface sheet (8), side sheets (13, 13) bonded to both sides of the surface sheet (8), a rear surface sheet (14), an absorbent body (12) positioned between the surface sheet (8), the side sheets (13, 13) and the rear surface sheet (14), the side sections of the surface sheet (8) having loop parts (25, 25) which extend outwards on both sides, and outer extension parts (3, 3) including wing parts (6, 6) in which the side sheets (13, 13) and the rear surface sheet (14) extend outwards from the absorbent body (12); a step in which the extension parts (3, 3) are folded at fold positions (FT1, FT2) in a lengthwise direction that passes through the outer edges of the loop parts (25, 25) or to the insides thereof; a step in which a fixing member (20) is spanned over the wing parts (6, 6) and the extension parts (3, 3) are fixed; and a step in which the absorbent article (1) is folded at fold positions (FV1, FV2) that pass in a widthwise direction that passes through the extension parts (3, 3).
