Abstract:
The present invention provides a manufacturing method for a composition including a low molecular weight polytetrafluoroethylene, said manufacturing method including: (I) a step in which ionizing radiation is applied to a composition including a high molecular weight polytetrafluoroethylene to obtain a composition including a low molecular weight polytetrafluoroethylene with a melt viscosity at 380°C within the range 1.0×102-7.0×105Pa∙s; and (II) a step in which a perfluorinated compound that is included the composition including the low molecular weight polytetrafluoroethylene obtained in the aforementioned step is decomposed.
