Abstract:
Provided is a method for manufacturing such a drill head easily but reliably at
a low cost as is given a high sizing precision and an edge precision by soldering
cutting blade tips to the cutting blade seats of a head body. The method manufactures
a drill head (10), in which a screw shank (2) is screwed and connected to the leading
end portion of a tool shank (5) of a deep hole cutting drill, so that constricting
circumferential portions (22 and 23) on the two sides of a male thread portion
(21) are used in close contact with the circumference of the tool shank (5). A shank
cylinder member (20A) having a cutting allowance (7) left at least on the constricting
circumferential portions (22 and 23) is welded and integrated to the rear end
of a head body (1) having cutting blade chips (30a to 30c) soldered thereto, and
the cutting allowance (7) of the shank cylinder member (20A) is cut and finished
into the screw shank (2).
