Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a manufacturing method for heat exchanger fin in which metal belt-like bodies having a product width are not tangled with each other even when the metal belt-like bodies having the product width are sagging downward and intermittently fed. As a solution, this manufacturing method for heat exchanger fin comprises: a step for forming a metal belt-like body (48); a step for forming metal belt-like bodies (49) having a product width by an inter-row slit device (52) and feeding out the metal belt-like bodies (49) having the product width by a first feeding device (50); a step for feeding the metal belt-like bodies (49) having the product width into a cut off device (60) by a second feeding device (62) after causing the metal belt-like bodies (49) having the product width to sag downward; and a step for forming a heat exchanger fin (30) by cutting each of the metal belt-like bodies (49) having the product width into a predetermined length by the cut off device (60), wherein the lengths of the metal belt-like bodies (49) having the product width between the inter-row slit device (52) and the cut off device (60) are preset to be different between the adjacent metal belt-like bodies (49) having the product width.
