Abstract:

[Problem] To provide a lighting device which is lightweight, excels in safety and is capable of efficiently dissipating the heat generated from the LED elements in the light source. [Solution] A lighting device (10) comprises the following: a light source (22) having at least one LED element; a module (12) having a substrate (23) on which the light source (22) is mounted; and a holder (15) for accommodating and holding therein at least a portion of the module (12). The holder (15) comprises the following: a cylinder part (19) which has a heat conductor (18) step part (20) on which the substrate (23) is supported and a flange (21) that rises from the outer circumferential edge of the step part (20); and an insulation layer (16) that covers at least the outer circumferential surface of the cylinder part (19).
