Abstract:
Disclosed is a manufacturing method for an organic electroluminescence element which is provided with an anode (32), a cathode (34), and a laminated structural body which is sandwiched by the anode and the cathode, and which is configured from a laminated plurality of organic layers including an electron injection layer (44) which is provided so as to be contiguous with the anode. The disclosed manufacturing method for an organic electroluminescence element is provided with: a process for preparing a first structural body (12) wherein either only an anode or both an anode and at least part of the plurality of organic layers forming the laminated structural body are provided on a first substrate (22); a process for preparing a second structural body (14) wherein either only a cathode, or both a cathode and the remaining sections which form the laminated structural body, other than the portions provided to the first structural body, are provided on a second substrate (24); and a process for affixing together the first structural body and the second structural body, thus forming a laminated structural body sandwiched by an anode and a cathode. An electron injection layer including ionic polymers is formed during the process for preparing the first structural body or the process for preparing the second structural body.
