Abstract:
Disclosed is a manufacturing method for a porous metal-foam cone assembly. A metal-foam cone assembly according to the present invention comprises the steps of: providing a porous metal-foam sheet; cutting the porous metal-foam sheet into a set form using a cutting press equipped with a knife tool; performing primary forming of the metal-foam sheet using a cone-type mandrel after disposing the metal-foam sheet on the base plate of the forming die; performing secondary forming of the metal-foam sheet using a left and right sliders of the forming die; and, after forming the metal-foam sheet using the sliders, pressing an overlapping part of the metal-foam sheet using a stamping jig of the forming die.
