Abstract:
According to the present invention, when a holder that holds an electrical contact surface can extend or contract in a first direction crossing the electrical contact surface, at least one among writing, erasing, and changing of information is performed while stabilizing the position of the electrical contact surface in the first direction. The holder 52 has a first outer surface 52A, a second outer surface 52B, and a coil spring 523 which is an elastic member. An electrical contact surface 511 of an IC chip 51 is held on the first outer surface. When manufacturing or regenerating an assembly, firstly, the coil spring 523 is contracted in the first direction. Accordingly, the distance in the first direction between the first outer surface 52A and the second outer surface 52B is reduced to a predetermined distance shorter than a first distance. In addition, while maintaining the distance in the first direction between the first outer surface 52A and the second outer surface 52B at said predetermined distance, a probe 60 is brought into contact with the electrical contact surface 511. Thereby, at least one among writing, erasing, and changing of information is performed on the IC chip 51.
