Abstract:
In a method for manufacturing a fiber web (12), in particular a web of tissue or hygiene material, provided with a three dimensional surface structure, the fiber web is pressed at a dry content of less than 35%, in particular less than 30%, and preferably less than 25% onto an imprinting fabric (14) by a first pressure field and is thereby pre-imprinted, and in which the fiber web is guided through at east one pressure field (third pressure field) provided for dewatering and or drying said fiber web. Preferably, the fiber web is once more pressed onto an imprinting fabric by means of a second pressure field in order to fix strength without destroying the three dimensional surface structure. The fiber web is preferably guided between the first and the second pressure field through said at least one third pressure field. Preferably, the same imprinting fabric is used in said first pressure field and said second pressure field. Moreover, the dry content is achieved by a favorably priced apparatus instead of by TAD drying apparatus.
