Abstract:
[Problem] To address the problem of providing a map display system and a map display program with which it is possible to dispose characters along a road so as to improve appearance and legibility. [Solution] A map display system for placing a plurality of characters along a road in a direction for which the direction of the road is the reference. The map display system is configured so as to determine an interval between consecutive characters, which are two characters consecutively disposed in the direction of the road, in accordance with the direction of the consecutive characters so that overlapping of the consecutive characters is suppressed.
