Abstract:
When a navigation device (11) transmits current position information to a server (31), the server transmits, to the navigation device, course data indicating a course that was predicted based on the current position information. The navigation device corrects the current position measured thereafter on the course specified by the course data, and the corrected position information indicating the corrected position is transmitted to the server. The server delivers, to the navigation device, map data corresponding to a prescribed region that includes the corrected position specified by the corrected position information. The navigation device displays, on the screen of a display unit (16), the area surrounding the corrected position, based on the map data.
