Abstract:
A map generation method for a self-moving device, a self-moving device, and a medium. The method comprises: constructing an area map of a target area in a process that the self-moving device moves in the target area (201), the area map comprising a non-passable area where an obstacle in the target area is located, and the non-passable area being identified in a preset representation mode; acquiring obstacle information obtained in the movement process (202); and correcting an area structure of the non-passable area and/or the preset representation mode on the basis of the obstacle information to obtain a corrected area map (203). The problem that a matching degree between the area map and an actual environment of the target area is not high can be solved. The obstacle information is not used when the area map is constructed, therefore, the matching degree between the area map and the actual environment of the target area can be improved by correcting the area map in combination with the obstacle information in the target area.
