The present invention relates to a map information providing method using geotagging information, a service server, and a computer program recording medium therefor. According to one aspect of the present invention, the map information providing method is executed in a service server network-interworking with a user client. The method comprises the steps of: 1) receiving geotagging information from the user client; 2) acquiring coordinate information for generating map information from the geotagging information; 3) using the coordinate information and map information data to generate a map image file of an area including coordinates; and 4) transmitting the map image file to the user client as map information corresponding to the geotagging information.
