Abstract:

A map information transmission device has: a dividing means for dividing a map region into a plurality of sub-regions on the basis of superimposition positions of a plurality of objects in a map that are displayed superimposed on the map, said dividing means making divisions such that the number of objects included in each of the plurality of sub-regions is a prescribed number or less; an integrated image generating means for generating, for each of the plurality of sub-regions, integrated images including the objects included in the sub-regions; a display code generating means for generating, for each of the plurality of sub-regions, display codes that include cut-out information specifying cut-out regions for integrated images corresponding to the sub-regions; and a transmission means for transmitting the integrated images and display codes to a map display device.
