Abstract:
This map system (1, 31) is equipped with: an on-vehicle apparatus (9, 32) which is mounted on a vehicle and equipped with an imaging device (3) for capturing an image of the periphery of the vehicle; and a server (2) which generates a map using data corresponding to the image that has been captured by the imaging device and transmitted from the on-vehicle apparatus. The map system is also equipped with an integration unit (11) which assigns weights to respective sets of data transmitted from a plurality of the on-vehicle apparatuses on the basis of bias of the respective sets of data, and generates the map by integrating, on the basis of the weights, at least a portion of the sets of data.
