Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a marine power generation system and a power generation method for the marine power generation system which can economize space when introducing the power generation system in a ship. A power generation plant (1) is provided with: a gas turbine (2) which is driven by a combustion gas; a first generator (14) which is driven by the gas turbine (2) and generates power; an exhaust gas economizer (3) which generates steam by recovering heat from the exhaust gas discharged from the gas turbine (2); a boiler (4) which has a furnace (16) and a steam drum (17); a circulation flow path (29) which is connected so as to use the steam drum (18) as a steam separator of the exhaust gas economizer (3); a steam turbine (5) which is driven by steam from the steam drum (18); and a second generator (37) which is driven by the steam turbine (5) and generates power.
