Abstract:
In this marine vessel, when the navigational speed has decreased from normal navigation to low-load navigation with a liquefied-fuel-gas navigating mode in effect, the boil-off gas pressure in a LNG-supply line (11A) is increased in advance of switching from a navigating mode in which liquefied-fuel-gas-only combustion is used to a navigating mode in which combustion with an admixed heavy oil or light oil is used. When the mode is to be switched, a supply pressure adjustment valve (32) is opened and high-pressure boil-off gas is supplied to a main engine (100).
