Abstract:
A maritime surveillance system using a flying object is disclosed. The disclosed maritime surveillance system using a flying object comprises: a receiving unit mounted in a manned or unmanned flying object so as to receive ship identification information transmitted from an automatic ship identification unit of a specific ship; an image sensor for converting, into an electrical signal, image information captured by an image capturing unit mounted in the manned or unmanned flying object; and a control unit merging two pieces of information received from the receiving unit and the image sensor, and performing control so as to overlap an image of the specific ship with the identification information of the ship such that the overlapped image and information is outputted on a display unit.
