Abstract:
A light-permeable film (3) consisting of a thermoplastic resin, such as polyvinyl chloride or silicone resin is fused to the outer surface of a sheet body (1) consisting of leather, a nonwoven cloth or a fabric and provided in advance with marks (2) of a predetermined shape projecting from the outer surface thereof, and to the outer surfaces of the marks (2), and an unevenly surfaced pattern (4) is provided on the whole or a predetermined part of the outer surface of the light-permeable film (3). The depth (H) of grooves (4a) in this pattern (4) is set to not less than 0.05 mm with an inner portion of a thickness (L) of at least 0.05 mm of the light-permeable film (3) left thereunder, a maximum thickness (R) of the light-permeable film (3) being set to not more than 10 mm. This enables the marks (2) to be reinforced so that the marks are not separated from the sheet body (1), the gloss and color of the sheet body (1) and marks (2) to be preserved for a long period of time, and the gloss peculiar to the outer surface of the sheet body (1) to be given to the same surface.
