Abstract:
[Problem] To speed up mark searching. [Solution] An imaging device (300) of a mark detection system (1000) has a field of vision enabling partial imaging of an object to which a mark M has been added. A storage device (220) stores a database (DB) acquired by mark position learning operation. The database associates at least one image feature quantity of each image not containing a mark icon from among a plurality of images acquired by capturing images of different portions of the object with the imaging device across a plurality of times, and positional relationship data indicating the relationship between the positions depicted in the respective images and the position of the mark. When the mark icon is not contained in an acquired image, a signal processing device compares the image feature quantity of said image with the image feature quantity of each image in the storage device, and when a match comparison result is retrieved, the signal processing device causes the position of the imaging device to be changed using the positional relationship data associated with the matching image from the database and detects the mark icon in the acquired image, which has been recaptured following the change in position.
