Abstract:
Laying position information is provided on a vehicle (3) in a method for operating a marker system (1), the laying position information representing the position at which a magnetic marker (10) is laid so as to be able to realize control for assisting driving of the vehicle (3) using the magnetic marker (10). In said method, the laying position information representing the position at which the magnetic marker (10) is laid is corrected using as correction information the position of the magnetic marker (10) positioned on the vehicle (3) for which driving-assistance control is executed; therefore, it is possible to reduce the positional accuracy required when laying the magnetic marker (10), and it is possible to minimize the cost of laying the magnetic marker (10).
