Abstract:
Provided is a marking device capable of imparting a mark at an arbitrary position on a fastener tape of a continuous fastener chain. The marking device is provided with a marking unit (21) which imparts a mark (M) to at least one side of front and rear sides of a fastener tape (T) of a continuous fastener chain (C1). While feed length of the continuous fastener chain (C1) is measured by way of a continuous fastener chain length measurement device (11), the continuous fastener chain (C1) is transported by way of a feed roll device (14). When an arbitrary position of the continuous fastener chain (C1) arrives at the position of the marking unit (21), transport of the continuous fastener chain (C1) is suspended, and the mark (M) is imparted to the fastener tape (T) of the continuous fastener chain (C1) by way of the marking unit (21).
