Disclosed in the present invention is a marl for repairing modern cultural relic building decoration, comprising: water, fly ash, quick lime, washed medium sand, active silica, active calcium dioxide, silicic acid, calcium bicarbonate and titanium oxide. In the present invention, a hardened frame is formed by rapidly forming hydrated calcium silicate from activated silica, active calcium oxide and water, and hardening and air shrinking the hydrated calcium silicate. The hardened frame can limit the air shrinkage of hydrated calcium silicate, hydrated calcium aluminate, hydrated calcium aluminoferrite and hydrated calcium sulphoaluminate produced subsequently from fly ash, quick lime and water. A good match with the original cultural relic can be obtained due to reduced air shrinkage. Moreover, the material formed by using the formula of the present invention has mineral characteristic values similar to those of the original cultural relic and has good compatibility with the original cultural relic. Furthermore, the calcium hydroxide produced in the present invention is consumed in the pozzolanic reaction, and the corrosion resistance and durability of the material formed by the formula of the present invention can be effectively enhanced.
