Abstract:
Provided is a martensitic stainless steel material which has high strength and excellent corrosion resistance in a corrosive environment in which SOx and NOx are included. A martensitic stainless steel material according to the present disclosure satisfies the chemical composition set forth in the description, while satisfying formula (1). The yield strength is 862 MPa or more. With respect to this martensitic stainless steel material, the ratio of the number of Mg oxides having a circle-equivalent diameter of 2.0 µm or more to the total number of Ca oxides having a circle-equivalent diameter of 2.0 µm or more, Ca sulfides having a circle-equivalent diameter of 2.0 µm or more and Mg oxides having a circle-equivalent diameter of 2.0 µm or more is 45% or more. (1): 0.0010 ≤ Ca + Mg ≤ 0.0050 The atomic symbols in formula (1) are assigned with the contents (% by mass) of the corresponding elements.
