Abstract:
The present application relates to a mascara brush for applying a mascara liquid to the eyelashes, and to a method of manufacturing said mascara brush, and involves a first step for fixing first bristles, and second bristles having a lower softening point temperature than the first bristles, to a core material in a state in which the first bristles and the second bristles are mixed together and extend radially. In at least one region in the circumferential direction of around the core material, the first bristles and the second bristles are bent at an intermediate position partway along the extension from the core material, and by exposure to an environment having a temperature lower than the softening point temperature of the first bristles and higher than the softening point temperature of the second bristles, at least some of the second bristles are bent at the intermediate position.
