Abstract:
A mask and a method for manufacturing the mask are provided. The mask comprises a mask body that covers the user's mouth and nose when worn by the user, and wearing straps connected to both sides of the mask body. The mask body includes: a first layer formed of a fibrous material including polyester, polyurethane, or nylon; a second layer attached to one surface of the first layer and formed of a material including polypropylene; a third layer attached to one surface of the second layer and formed of an expanded-polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE) membrane filter or a material including graphene in a polypropylene material; a fourth layer attached to one surface of the third layer and formed of a material including polypropylene; and a fifth layer attached to one surface of the fourth layer and formed of a fibrous material including polyester, polyurethane, or nylon and an antibacterial yarn containing silver (Ag) nano component.
