Abstract:

Provided is: a mask member for a color measurement device, the mask member having a small color difference from a visually perceived color tint, the color measurement device being able to measure colors more accurately even if the color measurement target is made of a relatively small, thick, and translucent material; a color measurement device provided with the mask member; and a color measurement method that uses the color measurement device. The mask member 10 for the color measurement device is between the color measurement target and a light source, a window portion 5 that physically penetrates in the thickness direction being formed therein, the mask member 10 being disposed at a position that abuts on the color measurement target, the measurement target being arranged at a position that closes the window portion 5 and the color of the measurement target being measured by the color measurement device. The window portion 5 is transparent or translucent, and the maximum opening diameter D1 of the window portion 5 is 20 mm or less and smaller than the dimension of the measurement target. Provided are: the color measurement device in which the mask member 10 is disposed between the color measurement target and the light source and at a position abutting on the color measurement target; and a color measurement method including a step for measuring the color of a measurement target using the color measurement device.
