Abstract:

This mask sheet (10) has a first fiber layer (11) and a second fiber layer (12). The second fiber layer (12) has a higher collection efficiency for particles having a particle diameter of 1 μm or more and/or has a thinner average fiber diameter as compared with those of the first fiber layer (11). The second fiber layer (12) is of a basis weight of 1-20 g/m2. Under natural conditions, the second fiber layer (12) has: a plurality of ridged portions (13) that protrude toward a surface opposite to the surface facing the first fiber layer (11); and a plurality of indented portions (14) disposed between the ridged portions (13). The indented portions each have a joint portion (15) where the second fiber layer (12) and the first fiber layer (11) are joined to each other.
