Abstract:
A mask which can stretch and contract in response to the motion of the face of the wearer and which can be disposed along the face of the wearer.
A mask (1) is provided with a mask body (2) and ear loops (3). An upward pleat (7) and a downward pleat (8) which are folded so as to extend in the lateral direction are formed on the mask body (2). The upward pleat (7) is provided on the upper side of a center folded band (9) disposed so as to extend in the lateral direction, and the downward pleat (8) is provided on the lower side of the center folded band (9). A second fusion-bonded section (5) for minimizing the expansion of the upward pleat (7) and the downward pleat (8) is provided to the vicinity of the right end section (2b) of the mask body (2) and to the vicinity of the left end section (2a) thereof. The second fusion-bonded section (5) is formed symmetrically in the left-right direction of the mask body (2) and is an ellipse which is long in the lateral direction.
