Abstract:
[Problem] To improve the fixing properties of a thermal transfer ribbon during transfer, even if a tape base layer includes paper, and to improve printing quality. [Solution] A masking tape cartridge TK capable of being attached to a tape printing device 101 and having wound thereupon a masking tape 153 that is printed upon by a thermal transfer ribbon IB having a non-polar resin added to the outermost layer thereof. The masking tape 153 comprises: a tape base layer 162 including paper; a printing ink layer 162 provided on one side, in the thickness direction, of the tape base layer 162 and including a non-polar resin and ink; and a release layer 161 provided adjacent to one side, in the thickness direction, of the printing ink layer 162 and including a non-polar resin.
