Abstract:
A mass spectrometer for particulate matter analysis and a mass spectrometry method. The mass spectrometer may comprise: sequentially coupled, a droplet generation device (103), an ionization device (104), a vacuum interface device (105), an ion transport device (106), a time-of-flight (TOF) mass analyzer (108), and a data processor. The ion transport device (106) can, under the excitation of a combined voltage signal comprising a radio frequency voltage signal and a mixed alternating current voltage signal, selectively filter out ions having a selected mass-to-charge ratio in an ion cloud without affecting other ions.
