Abstract:
A mass spectrometer according to one aspect of the present invention is provided with: a first ion guide (14a) that is disposed in a first intermediate vacuum chamber (11); a first partition wall part (34) that constitutes at least a portion of a partition wall for separating the first intermediate vacuum chamber from a second intermediate vacuum chamber and that has an ion passage hole; a second ion guide (16a) that is disposed in a second intermediate vacuum chamber (12); a second partition wall part (17) that constitutes at least a portion of a partition wall for separating the second intermediate vacuum chamber from a vacuum chamber at the next stage and that has an ion passage hole; a first holding part (31) that integrally holds the first ion guide and the first partition wall part; a second holding part (41) that holds the second ion guide; coupling parts (43, 31a) that couple the first holding part and the second holding part in an attachable/detachable manner; and a vacuum chamber body part (10) having mounted thereto in an attachable/detachable manner an ion transport unit obtained by coupling, with coupling parts, the first holding part in a state of holding the first ion guide and the first partition wall part and the second holding part in a state of holding the second ion guide. Accordingly, attachment/detachment of an ion optical element can be easily performed.
