Abstract:
The present invention relates to a massage device for relaxing the thigh muscles or calf muscles, and more particularly, to a massage device for relaxing the thigh muscles or calf muscles in which the circular motion of a motor is converted into a linear motion using a crank and a rod so as to apply vibrations to the calf or thigh of a user in the left and right directions with the calf or the thigh being pressed downward. The operating range of the massage device of the present invention can be adjusted in accordance with the body type and condition of the body. The massage device concentratedly relaxes the muscles of the thigh or calf, which have a high concentration of muscles, so as to enable recovery from muscle fatigue in an early stage and relieve muscle pain and paralysis symptoms. The massage device is configured such that pressure boards (400) protruded downward, and move in a transverse direction in conjunction with a rod (230) so as to press and apply vibrations to the calf or thigh of the user. In addition, tightening members (240) are fitted to the rod (230) in the horizontal direction, the spacing between tightening members (240) is adjusted, and the tightening members (240) are fastened by respective bolts. Then, the heights of the pressure boards (400) are vertically adjusted, and the pressure boards (400) are fastened to the respective tightening members (240) by bolts. Thus, a massage can be performed in accordance with the body type of the user. In addition, the massage device of the present invention comprises: a crank (210) fixed at the rotary shaft of a motor (110); a connecting rod (220) connected to the crank (210); a connecting piece (225) connected to the connecting rod (220); and said rod (230) which is connected to the connecting piece (225), thereby converting a circular motion into a reciprocating linear motion. The pressure boards (400) are tightened onto the rod (230). The massage device of the present invention has a simple structure, is easy to use, and can be manufactured at a low cost.
