Abstract:
Provided is a massage device that is capable of performing massage having changes in amplitude while moving a massage body using a relatively simple drive structure, and is also capable of maintaining good operating conditions over a long period of time. A massage device 1 is provided with: a casing 2; a massage body 3 that is disposed on an attachment wall 34 of the casing 2 and is pressed against a surface of a human body; and a drive structure 4 that is disposed in the casing 2 and causes the massage body 3 to perform a reciprocating motion. The drive structure 4 includes: a rotary drive source 36; and a motion conversion mechanism 39 that converts a rotary motion of the rotary drive source 36 into a reciprocating motion. The motion conversion mechanism 39 is formed by a cam mechanism including: a cam 45 that is driven by the rotary drive source 36 to rotate; and a cam follower 46 that is driven by the cam 45 to perform a reciprocating motion.
