Abstract:
A master cylinder for an electronic brake system is disclosed. A master cylinder for an electronic brake system according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a pedal simulator having a rubber member interposed between a first master piston and a second master piston so as to provide a reaction force to the brake pedal. The first master piston includes: a first piston and a second piston which are coupled to each other to be relatively movable and each of which has a communicative flow channel formed therein so as to allow a pressurizing medium to flow between a reservoir and a first master chamber; a communicative flow channel sealing member for blocking a portion of the communicative flow channel according to the relative movement of the first piston and the second piston; and an elastic member for providing an elastic force in a direction in which the first piston and the second piston are spaced apart from each other.
