Abstract:
Provided are masterbatch pellets for use in obtaining a polyamide resin composition which has excellent mechanical strength and thermal aging resistance. The masterbatch pellets are obtained by melt-kneading raw material ingredients comprising (A) a thermoplastic resin and (B) a metal oxide. The pellets have a content of the metal oxide (B) of 0.5 mass% or more. After the melt kneading, some of the metal oxide (B) is present as aggregates having a major-axis length of 5 µm or more. It is preferable that the proportion of the aggregates having a major-axis length of 5 µm or more in the whole of the metal oxide (B) which has undergone the melt kneading should be 30 mass% or less.
