Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an inclined golf mat used by being laid on a golf range or the like, wherein the golf mat is suitable for shot practice for rough on a golf course. [Solution] A mat for golf practice in which artificial turf is installed on the surface of a substantially plate-shaped base part. In at least a shot portion of the artificial turf, a plurality of pile fibers are distributed and implanted in a foundation cloth in levels so as to have a plurality of lengths, whereby the artificial turf is configured so as to be capable of holding golf balls at a plurality of heights. This makes it possible to produce conditions similar to those of rough turf on a golf course, and enables various lies, such as flyer lies, to be re-created through appropriate adjustments to the force pressing the golf ball against the artificial turf.
