Abstract:
A material exchange device of a turning center can comprise a separation unit, an exchange unit, and a first transfer unit. The separation unit is disposed at one side of a chuck of the turning center and can preliminarily discharge a processed material from the chuck. The exchange unit can discharge the processed material from the separation unit and feed an unprocessed material to the chuck. The first transfer unit can move the exchange unit such that the exchange unit is disposed between the chuck and the separation unit. Therefore, in a state in which the processed material is discharged from the chuck to the separation unit, the exchange unit can simultaneously discharge the processed material from the separation unit and feed the unprocessed material to the chuck, thereby significantly reducing an exchange operation time of the materials.
