Abstract:
Provided are a material recommendation method and system. The method comprises: determining the number n of recommended pools, wherein n is an integer greater than or equal to three; determining a display flow rate corresponding to a single material in each stage of recommendation pools, so that the display flow rate increases sequentially from a first-stage recommendation pool to a n-1th-stage recommendation pool; for a specific recommendation request, selecting candidate materials from within the n stages of recommendation pools; recommending on the basis of the selected candidate materials; and acquiring user behavior data corresponding to the recommended materials. The method further comprises allocating the materials in each recommended pool in the following manner: placing continuously generated new materials into the first-stage recommended pool; for material in an i-1th-stage recommended pool, using a corresponding display flow rate as a unit to perform statistics of user behavior data corresponding to the material, and on the basis of a statistical result, determining whether to remove the material from the i-1th-stage recommendation pool, keep the material in the i-1th-stage recommendation pool, or move the material into an ith-stage recommendation pool.
