Abstract:
A material for spectacles, in which a functional resin layer (15) is integrated by injection molding on one or both surfaces of an organic glass substrate (11) which is a resin molded article, the organic glass substrate (11) being molded from a thermosetting resin raw material which is thiourethane-based, episulfide-based, or (meth)acrylate ((M)Ac hereinafter)-based, the functional resin layer (15) being molded from a (M)Ac-based thermosetting resin raw material (functional resin layer raw material), and a polymerizable component of the functional resin layer raw material comprising an OH-group-containing alkyl (M)Ac and another (M)Ac having an at least bifunctional group as the main component thereof. This material for spectacles has practical adhesive strength between the organic glass substrate and the functional resin layer.
