Abstract:
This material supply device for supplying an absorbent article processing device is provided with: a material splicing device (20); a storage device (40) capable of storing, in a loop shape, preceding material or subsequent material continuously fed from the material splicing device; and a conveyance direction changing member (50) which changes the conveyance direction of the preceding material or subsequent material fed from the storage device using a first direction as the conveyance direction, to a second direction intersecting the first direction in a plan view, and feeds the preceding material or subsequent material to the processing device. The length of the conveyance path of the preceding material or subsequent material between a joining position (Pj) where the subsequent material is joined to the preceding material, and an arrival position (P40a) where the preceding material or subsequent material arrives at the storage device is shorter than the length of the conveyance path of the preceding material or subsequent material between a dispatch position (P40d) where the preceding material or subsequent material is dispatched from the storage device to the conveyance direction changing member, and an arrival position (P50a) where the preceding material or subsequent material arrives at the conveyance direction changing member.
