Abstract:
An explanatory variable generation means 91 generates new explanatory variables by combining explanatory variables that serve as bases, and generates explanatory variable candidates that include the explanatory variables serving as bases and the generated new explanatory variables. An explanatory variable selection means 92 selects, from among the explanatory variable candidates, an explanatory variable more preferable as an explanatory variable for use in a mathematical model representing a nonlinear phenomenon with a mathematical expression, and generates candidates of the mathematical model. A model evaluation means 93 evaluates the qualities of the generated candidates of the mathematical model. A model selection means 94 selects the highest evaluated mathematical model from among the plurality of generated candidates of the mathematical model.
