Abstract:
Provided is a mating structure for a case (1), whereby during fabrication of a case in which an inner case body (2) and an outer case body (3) mate together into a bento box, it is possible for the case bodies to assemble together in a rattle-free manner, even when the inside bending radius (r) and excess thickness (6) in the respective case bodies by the bending process are large. This mating structure for a case (1) is constituted such that, in order for the inner case body (2) to be retained in regions of the outer case body (3), which regions are ones that avoid the inside bending radius (r) of the bent portion and the excess thickness (6) created in the bent portion, the side walls (2a, 3a) that constitute the mating portions of the inner case body (2) and the outer case body (3), i.e., the mutually opposing two side wall portions (2a, 2a) of the inner case body (2) or the mutually opposing two side wall portions (3a, 3a) of the outer case body (3), are respectively furnished with constricted portions (5).
