Abstract:
To provide a mattress in which die-cut holes in the mattress efficiently bear shear stress and are easily compressed, as well as not being formed in a waveform nor the number and area of the die-cut holes changing, nor the work hours increasing nor the resilience decreasing compared to conventional mattresses, and a bed device which employs the mattress: a plurality of bar-shaped holes (28) with oblique angles to the width direction of a mattress (10) are formed passing through (a core material of) a foot portion (18) of the mattress (10) in the thickness direction of the foot portion at a prescribed interval; and the plurality of holes (28) are staggered in the mattress (10) when seen in plan view.
